UCL Press publishes a range of open access academic journals for the academic community, covering a broad range of topics across the humanities and social sciences. All UCL Press academic journals are hosted by ScienceOpen. We’re pleased to announce that our education and social science journals, previously published by the Institute of Education Press, are also moving onto the ScienceOpen platform. The first publications to move are the Film Education Journal and the International Journal of Development Education and Global Learning. The other three journals will be: the History Education Research Journal, the London Review of Education and Research for All.
Each of our journals is published in open access to help ensure the widest possible dissemination for research. The journals are editorially independent, supported by an Editorial Board with specialist expertise in the subject area. Click on the journal covers below for further information about the journal and their editorial boards, submission processes and to read the journal.
Architecture_MPS, Radical Americas, Europe and the World: A law review, International Journal of Social Pedagogy (IJSP), The London Journal of Canadian Studies and Jewish Historical Studies: Transactions of the Jewish Historical Society of England are all indexed in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ). This means greater exposure for our authors and makes it easier for readers to find our articles. In addition, all six journals have been awarded the DOAJ Seal. This means they comply with the DOAJ’s highest levels of openness, and adhere to Best Practice and maintain high publishing standards. The Journal of the Sylvia Townsend Warner Society has also been indexed in DOAJ.
