    Dr Paul Ayris, Pro-Vice-Provost (Library, Culture, Collections, Open Science), UCL and CEO of UCL Press

    Paul is the founder and CEO of UCL Press, and serves on UCL’s Senior Management Team. He chairs the UCL Press Executive Board.

    Director of Services (Library, Culture, Collections, Open Science), UCL 

     Martin manages a large portfolio of teams in UCL's department of Library, Culture, Collections & Open Science (LCCOS), among them open access services including UCL Press.

    Lara Speicher 
    Head of Publishing, UCL Press

    Lara joined UCL in 2013 and worked with colleagues to set UCL Press up from scratch. She was previously Commissioning Editor at British Library Publishing.

    Editorial: Monographs and Edited Collections

    UCL Press considers book proposals for all subjects including any that don't fall into the commissioning editors' stated key areas.

      Dr Chris Penfold

      Commissioning Editor for Anthropology, Built Environment, Development and Sustainability, Modern Languages, Political Science, and any related areas.

      Chris has been commissioning books for UCL Press since 2015. Prior to this role he was Commissioning Editor at Palgrave Macmillan.

       
      Pat Gordon-Smith

      Commissioning Editor for Education and related social sciences, Archaeology, Heritage, History and Museum Studies, and any related areas.

      Pat brings 30 years' experience to the role, during which time she commissioned works for a number of academic publishers and professional organisations.

        Alison has led our marketing, distribution and sales team since 2015. She previously held a variety of marketing roles at Wolters Kluwer (LWW) and Informa.

        Margie has expertise in publishing and the book trade, having worked for Waterstones and a diverse range of publishers and literary agencies.
