May may have been rainy (in the UK, at least), but it started with a bang for UCL Press! The publication of The Global Smartphone, and its sister volumes Ageing with Smartphones in Ireland and Ageing with Smartphones in Urban Italy attracted attention from media outlets across the globe. Easter has come and gone, and Spring has finally sprung! UCL Press published five wonderful new open access books in April, covering everything from the technology behind Renaissance entertainments (we highly recommend this one!) to boredom, museums collections to female archaeologists.
